Illustration Friday - Black & White
Not having much time this week I decided to share an old copper embossment I did years ago while in grade school.... As it was not a true "illustration", I experimented with PhotoShop to make a Black & White image to fit the theme, I've included that along with the original below. Still feeling guilty for not submitting a "real" drawing, I also decided to include a B & W sketch of my dog, Sam, who is as white as snow with orange markings and a pink nose... she's a Brittany. The bottom images can be selected for a larger view.

Wow, these are all wonderful pieces! I particularly love your dog drawing.
I was also inspired by Cooperart :) We were learning about Egypt at school and mine was a portrait of Nefertiti. Thanks for the memory. Sam looks friendly and very life-like:)
I think that both of your entries are splendid. You have a wonderful way with animals.

I've discovered your drawings about two weeks ago. And, I have to say I'm quite affectionate about your approach, especially its rather pedestrian character.
Thanks for your note, I love how you handled the dog in this illustration. It's so gentle and loving. It has a lot of character:)
